It was also agreed that the number of spaces on the wreck dives would be set at six, given the extra kit etc., needed on these dives, and that the boat would not go out with less than five divers, on the scenic dives, (unless the participants agreed to pay the extra costs themselves).

The committee reserved the right to review the dive costs at any time during the year and amend as appropriate.

Members and non members are reminded that anyone booking a space on the boat are liable for the cost of the space should they cancel after booking, the only exception to this is if there are divers on a waiting list for the date which an individual may need/want to cancel.

This was agreed at the initial conception of the club and the reasoning is as follows, should a diver/divers book spaces then at a later date cancel or fail to turn up then there will be a clear shortfall in money taken on the day.

The problem then arises that:

1. The club must meet the shortfall or
2. Dive Safari Scotland meet the shortfall

As neither the club nor Dive Safari are registered charities then the diver/divers involved will be required to cover the cost.

The wrecks which can be considered are as follows

Avondale Park steamship sank in 1945  approx 45 Mts.
Chester II trawler sank in 1916 approx 22 Mts.
Cyclops dredger sank in 1924 approx 42 Mts.
Royal Archer steamship sank in 1940

approx 24 Mts.

River Gary steamship sank in 1893 approx 30 Mts.
Stjernvik steamship sank in 1928 approx 45 Mts.
U 74? WW1 u boat sank in 1916 approx 45 Mts.
Primrose trawler  sank in ???? approx 32 Mts.  (only on May isle trip)

Remember when booking on for the wreck dives consider your experience and qualifications and that the Diving officer will have the final say haven taken in to account qualifications experience and conditions whether the dive will go ahead
